The family owned company, based in Grant Park, IL, was founded in 1982 by Mike and Lester Riechers, and over the years has grown from a general machine shop to a leading manufacturer of custom built steel and aluminum rods. Mike and his wife Julie have been racing for years from the local track to boats to Pro Modified. They truly understand the time and effort each team puts forth in order to compete week after week. Well we went to our first race in Saluda, SC. and did great, the first pull on Friday I was a little nervous and only manage to run a 297.91 for 15th place out of 22 trucks. Not bad for the first time racing this truck, but there is always room for improvement. So I was determine to do better on Saturday, and I did, I ran a 307.33 for 8th place out of 21 trucks. It was a great time for us and I want to thank all of you for your continue support of me, I hope to do my best at all the races this year, by the way our son Mikey Video tape me so you can go on You Tube and see both pulls, 1 on Friday and 1 on Saturday, just search for Jules Riechers High Roller and you should find it easily, I will continue to try and make you all proud of me, I am having a fun time and I hope to see you guys at some of the closer races later on in the summer.
