Terms and Policies
General Information Sales and technical assistance is available from 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. Orders can be placed 24 hours a day to our Fax machine at 815-465-6743 or emailed to info@rrconnectingrods.com.
Shipping All merchandise is shipped via United Parcel Service. The customer assumes responsibility for all freight charges.
Terms We accept cash, certified check, money order, personal/business check, or credit card. We accept Visa and Mastercard only. C.O.D. on approved accounts only. There will be a fee charged for all C.O.D. orders. Please use your credit card to avoid these fees. Down payments shall be made by certified check, money order, credit card or personal/business check. Personal/business checks will delay shipment until the check clears our bank.
Merchandise Returns Any merchandise returned to R&R Machine Shop Inc. must have prior approval. All returns must be made freight prepaid and insured. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of bill of sale as well as a complete explanation of reason for return. Merchandise can be returned for credit only. No cash refunds will be made. A 15% restocking charge will be applied to all returned merchandise.
Damaged Merchandise R&R Machine Shop Inc. ships all merchandise carefully packaged and in good condition. All shipments are insured. All claims for damaged merchandise must be made with the carrier. All packaging materials must be presented to the carrier with a claim. Do not return damaged merchandise to R&R Machine Shop Inc. without prior approval.
Miscellaneous Any length or combination rod available upon request. Custom orders require a down payment. Price, design, and availability subject to change without notice. Not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicles. Check your local regulations. Possession of this catalog or related price lists is not an offer to sell merchandise listed herein at the prices shown. Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. All decisions regarding any and all sales policies and terms are at our discretion and responsibility. The reproduction of this catalog, in whole or in part is forbidden without written permission from R&R Machine Shop Inc.
Limited Warranty & Liability Disclaimer No guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, have been represented to buyer by seller; including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness of our products for particular use or purpose. Any and all damages arising from the commercial use of these products are expressly excluded and waived by buyer. Buyer accepts merchandise in “as-is” condition. Any claim for damages arising from the sale of this merchandise shall be limited to the repair and replacing of non-conforming parts.
Warranty, disclaimer of all warranties, release, assumption of risk, and purchase agreement
This is a contract and your agreement to which you have consented and entered into by your purchase and/or use of any products manufactured and/or sold by R&R Racing Products and/or its dealers. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms, do not use or purchase any products manufactured and/or sold by R&R Racing Products and/or its dealers.
R&R Racing Products and its dealers are not responsible for any direct, incidental, and/or consequential damages arising from or in any way related to the use or installation of any products manufactured and/or sold by R&R Racing Products and/or its dealers. The purchase and/or use of any part manufactured and/or sold by R&R Racing Products and/or its dealers hereby releases R&R Racing Products and/or its dealers from any and all liability for the use of these parts in any fashion.
The use of any performance product or vehicle is potentially dangerous. Racing anything is dangerous. Serious bodily injury and/or death can result from the operation of performance vehicles in any environment, especially when racing. The purchaser and/or user of any product manufactured and/or sold by R&R Racing Products understands this and assumes the risk of injury or death and accepts full responsibility for all damages and injuries incurred through the use of these products, from participating in any competitive events, and/or from operating a performance vehicle in any other way.
There is no warranty of any kind (express or implied, fitness of usage, for a particular purpose and/or merchantability) made for any product manufactured and/or sold by R&R Racing Products and/or its dealers. All products are sold “AS-IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS” basis. Buyer and/or user agree that he or she has had the opportunity to fully examine these products before use and/or installation. R&R Racing Products and/or its dealers are not responsible for the manner and method of the installation of these parts. That responsibility lies solely with the user and/or buyer of these parts. All parts manufactured and/or sold by R&R Racing Products and/or its dealers are intended solely for off road use and not for use on the public roads. The use of these products on public roads is illegal and the installation of these parts on a vehicle may make that vehicle illegal for use on public roads. The best-designed and manufactured products still need maintenance. A performance vehicle vibrates tremendously and literally shakes itself apart every time it is operated. You must recheck the tightness of all fasteners on your vehicle prior to operating it each time to insure that parts do not become loose and create a hazard. This is the sole responsibility of the buyer and/or user of these parts.
If your vehicle is being operated in an organized event, the buyer and/or user of these parts is solely responsible for complying with all safety and/or technical requirements of that sanctioning body. These rules must be complied with. Buyer and/or user warrant that he or she is in compliance with all such rules and requirements and further acknowledge that these rules many not constitute the appropriate standard for safety practices and requirements, rather simply the minimum required by that particular organization.
Only you make the decision to purchase and/or use these parts and decided how to install and maintain them. Only you make the choice to operate a performance vehicle or to race it. If you think our products are unsafe, do not buy them. By purchasing and/or using these parts, you agree to be bound by all of the terms recited above.
